"Si bien es cierto, muchas de las bandas presentes en este “Rock On The Range” viven casi exclusivamente de sus viejas glorias,  Alice In Chains y Soundgarden demostraron que un pasado glorioso puede ser prolongado y mantener la vigencia como en los primeros días.

Alice In Chains subió al escenario con una apuesta ganadora y sin riesgos. Su show mantuvo una estructura similar a la mostrada en la reciente gira de reunión, muy parecido a lo ofrecido en Chile en su recordado paso por Maquinaria. “Them Bones”, “Dam That River” y “Again”, dieron paso a los temas de la era ‘DuVall’, “Check My Brain”y “Your Decision”. El vocalista ya se encuentra sólidamente establecido en escena y por algunos pasajes hace olvidar la gran sombra de Layne Staley.

Con un disco nuevo en las puertas del horno, Alice In Chains aprovechó de presentar dos de los singles de “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here”: “Hollow”y “Stone”. Mientras el primero no suena tan bien como en su versión de estudio y le falta ser pulido para su entrega en vivo; el segundo, en tanto, muestra lo mejor de esta nueva encarnación de la banda de Cantrell."

Alice in Chains participó en el Festival Beale St Music Festival de Memphis TN, junto a bandas como The Black Keys, The Smashing Pumpkins, ZZ Top, Public Enemy, Deftones.

El mal tiempo retrasó el inicio del show, e incluso Jerry vistió una vistosa gorra para protegerse del clima. Durante "Check My Brian" Cantrell hizo alusión a este percance.

Nuevamente la banda ocupó un setlist de festival, osea 13 canciones, sin sorpresas y con "Hollow" y "Stone" en el repertorio.
